01Data we process

• Account email, authentication sessions, plan, subscription status, Polar customer identifiers, and support messages.
• A random extension installation ID. BrickAI stores an HMAC-derived identifier to enforce account device limits.
• Audio and captions from the active YouTube video only after you start translation, plus generated transcripts and translations needed to provide the service.
• Usage, quota, token, provider-cost, session, error, security, IP address, and request metadata needed to operate and protect the service.

02How we use data

BrickAI does not sell personal data and does not use video content for advertising or credit decisions.

• Provide translation and voice dubbing, authenticate accounts, enforce plans, and process payments.
• Detect abuse, secure accounts, diagnose failures, control provider spend, and improve service reliability.
• Respond to support requests and send essential account, billing, and service messages.

03Processors and transfers

BrickAI sends the minimum content needed to configured AI providers to perform transcription, translation, or voice generation. Billing is processed by Polar and transactional email may be delivered by Resend. Hosting, monitoring, and backup providers may process operational data.

These providers may process data in countries outside yours. BrickAI selects providers under contractual and security safeguards appropriate to the service.

04Retention and security

Raw audio is streamed for processing and is not intentionally retained by BrickAI after the active request. Generated content may exist temporarily during a session. Account, billing, usage, fraud-prevention, and security records are retained only as needed for service operation, legal obligations, dispute handling, and abuse prevention.

BrickAI uses access controls, encrypted transport, server-side provider credentials, limited logs, and operational monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

05Your choices and rights

You can stop translation at any time, revoke registered devices from your account, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible personal data. Some records may be retained when required by law or necessary to prevent fraud and resolve disputes.

06Children and changes

VidLingo AI is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their country. BrickAI may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change and will post the effective date here.
